Text

(1)There is hereby created within the department of administration the Idaho state capitol commission, hereafter referred to as the commission. The commission shall consist of nine (9) members, six (6) of whom shall be public members. The public members shall be appointed as follows: four (4) members shall be appointed by the governor, one (1) member shall be appointed by the president pro tempore of the senate and one (1) member shall be appointed by the speaker of the house of representatives. Public members shall serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority, or for a term of five (5) years, whichever is shorter.
