§ 59-1305A — CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECKS
(1)The public employee retirement system of Idaho (PERSI), through the cooperation of the Idaho state police, shall establish a system to obtain a criminal history check on individuals, including but not limited to classified and nonclassified employees as defined in section 67-5302, Idaho Code, those who will have access to personally identifiable information, and those who will have access to initiate or approve financial transactions. The criminal history check shall be based on a completed ten (10) finger fingerprint card or scan and shall include, at a minimum, information from the following state and national databases:
(a)The Idaho bureau of criminal identification; and
(b)The federal bureau of investigation.
