Text

Any information obtained from any designated depository by the treasurer of a depositing unit shall be subject to disclosure according to chapter 1, title 74, Idaho Code, provided that federal or state examiners shall have a lawful right to examine said designated depository or to proper officials legally empowered to investigate criminal charges relating to said designated depository shall have a right to examine said depository. Any public official who violates any provision of this section by improperly disclosing information shall forfeit his office or employment and shall also be guilty of a felony.
