Text
Cities are authorized to clear, cleanse, alter, straighten, widen, pipe, wall, fill or close any waterway, drain or sewer or any watercourse in such city when not declared, by law, to be navigable and, as provided in section 50-1008, assess the expense thereof in whole or in part to the property specially benefited thereby.
