Text

(1)Congressional medal of honor license plates are available to applicants who furnish proof of entitlement by certification from the United States Veterans Administration attesting to their status as a congressional medal of honor recipient.
(2)The license plates shall be provided free of charge. The applicant shall pay the regular annual registration fees required by section 49-402 or 49-434 (1), Idaho Code. The provisions of this section shall not apply to any vehicle with a registered maximum gross weight over twenty-six thousand (26,000) pounds. If the plate holder transfers his title or interest to a vehicle registered under this section, the plates may be transferred to another vehicle owned by the plate holder.
