Text
The department shall upon request furnish any person a certified abstract of the operating record of any person subject to the provisions of this chapter providing fees have been paid pursuant to section 49-202, Idaho Code. Personal information contained in the operating record shall be exempt from disclosure as provided in chapter 2, title 49, Idaho Code. The abstract shall also fully designate the motor vehicles, if any, registered in the name of the person. If there is no record of any conviction of the person of violating any law relating to the operation of a motor vehicle or of any injury or damage caused by that person, the department shall so certify. These abstracts shall not be admissible as evidence in any action for damages or criminal proceedings arising out of a motor vehicle
