§ 43-205 — INCREASING OR DECREASING NUMBER OF DIRECTORS — PROCEDURE FOLLOWING ELECTION
Upon the canvass of the returns, as provided by section 43-208, of any election for determining the number of the directors for any irrigation district, and if there be any change voted, then the board shall immediately proceed to redivide the said district into directors’ divisions of convenient boundaries and as nearly as possible of equal area, and appoint a qualified person from each division as a director whose term of office shall expire with the next regular election, and the first succeeding directors elected under the new arrangement shall determine their terms of office as contemplated by this chapter, and in case the number of directors shall have been decreased the old members of the board of directors shall continue in office until the expiration or sooner determination of the
