§ 42-244 — RECORDING OF CLAIMS BY DEPARTMENT — CORRECTIONS

Idaho·Title 42 IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE — WATER RIGHTS AND RECLAMATION·Ch. 2 APPROPRIATION OF WATER — PERMITS, CERTIFICATES, AND LICENSES — SURVEY
Upon receipt of any claim submitted under this chapter, together with the statutory filing fee as set forth in section 42-221, Idaho Code, it shall be the duty of the department of water resources to file and to maintain a record of such claim, which shall be available for public inspection during all normal office hours. The department shall also cause a notice to be published once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published and of general circulation in the county where the water is claimed to be diverted, if there is such a newspaper, otherwise in a newspaper of general circulation in the county, which said notice shall set forth such information as shall apprise the public of the nature of the claim which has been filed.
