§ 42-2034 — REDEMPTION PURCHASE BY PROSPECTIVE SETTLER
Idaho·Title 42 IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE — WATER RIGHTS AND RECLAMATION·Ch. 20 RECLAMATION OF CAREY ACT LANDS
Where the lienholder becomes the purchaser at such foreclosure sale, if such land and water rights are not redeemed by the original owner within nine (9) months, then at any time within three (3) months after the expiration of such nine (9) months, any person desiring to settle upon and use such land and water rights, may apply to the purchaser at such foreclosure sale to redeem such land and water rights, and such purchaser shall assign the certificate of sale of such land and water rights to the person desiring to redeem the same, upon the payment by him, within such three (3) months, of the amount of the lien for which the same was sold at such foreclosure sale, together with the interest, costs and fixed charges thereon.
