§ 42-1767 — APPROVAL OF PROJECTS — AUTHORITY OF WATER USERS TO CONTRACT WITH BOARD — AUTHORIZING THE BOARD’S ACQUISITION OF INTEREST IN PROJECTS

Idaho·Title 42 IRRIGATION AND DRAINAGE — WATER RIGHTS AND RECLAMATION·Ch. 17 DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES — WATER RESOURCE BOARD
Irrigation districts, canal companies, irrigation companies, water user associations and water associations are authorized to hold elections, subject to the provisions of section 34-106, Idaho Code, for the purpose of submitting a question to their qualified voters, members or stockholders, as the case may be, as to whether the district, company or association should finance the projects and facilities through the Idaho water resource board for the purposes set forth in section 42-1740, Idaho Code. A two-thirds (2/3) vote is required to approve the project. Any irrigation district, canal company, irrigation company, water user association or water association, is hereby authorized to enter into any agreement or agreements with the board with respect to an approved project within the state
