§ 41-2146 — COVERAGE PROVIDED TO PERSONS HAVING INSURANCE

Idaho·Title 41 INSURANCE·Ch. 21 DISABILITY INSURANCE POLICIES
An insurer providing individual disability insurance coverage in this state shall make available to citizens of this state major medical disability policies under the terms set forth in this section. An insurer providing only accident-only, credit, dental, vision, long-term care or disability income insurance, coverage issued as a supplement to liability insurance, worker’s compensation, or automobile medical payment insurance is not required to comply with the provisions of this section. An insurer providing only specified disease or hospital confinement indemnity insurance in this state shall not be required to comply with the provisions of this section, provided the insurance is marketed as supplemental health insurance and not as a substitute for hospital or major medical expense insur
