§ 41-2142 — LIMITATION OF BENEFITS FOR ELECTIVE ABORTIONS
All policies, contracts, plans or certificates of disability insurance delivered, issued for delivery or renewed in this state after the effective date of this section shall exclude coverage for elective abortions. Such exclusion may be waived by endorsement and the payment of a premium therefor. Availability of such coverage shall be at the option of the insurance carrier. For purposes of this section, an "elective abortion" means an abortion for any reason other than to preserve the life of the female upon whom the abortion is performed.
