The portion of state highway 6 located near Potlatch, Idaho, beginning at the intersection of United States Highway 95 and ending at the western city limits of the city of Potlatch, is to be known as the "Bobby Chambers Memorial Highway" to honor Robert "Bobby" Chambers, a Vietnam war hero from Potlatch who earned the silver star and purple heart for his actions on the same day that he lost his life in service of his country at age nineteen (19). The Idaho transportation department may place and maintain suitable signs at each end of the designated memorial highway. Provided, the department shall not place such signs or markers where other current special designations exist.
