Text
(1)No person shall place any advertising display within the area affected by the provisions of this chapter in this state without first having secured a written permit from the department.
(2)A separate application for a permit shall be made for each separate outdoor advertising structure, sign or display on a form furnished by the department, which application shall contain information as the department may require. Each application shall be accompanied by the written consent of the owner or tenant of the real property upon which the structure, sign or display is to be erected or maintained, unless the consent shall have previously been filed with the department.
