§ 39-3020 — WESTERN INTERSTATE NUCLEAR COMPACT

Idaho·Title 39 HEALTH AND SAFETY·Ch. 30 RADIATION AND NUCLEAR MATERIAL
The Western Interstate Nuclear Compact is hereby enacted into law and entered into by the state of Idaho as a party, and is in full force and effect between the state and any other state joining therein in accordance with the terms of the compact, which compact is substantially as follows: The party states recognize that the proper employment of scientific and technological discoveries and advances in nuclear and related fields and direct and collateral application and adaptation of processes and techniques developed in connection therewith, properly correlated with the other resources of the region, can assist substantially in the industrial progress of the West and the further development of the economy of the region.
