§ 39-1806 — HOTELKEEPER’S LIEN
Idaho·Title 39 HEALTH AND SAFETY·Ch. 18 HOTELS AND FOOD VENDING ESTABLISHMENTS — REGULATIONS AND INSPECTION
A hotelkeeper has a lien upon and may retain all baggage and other personal property in possession of a guest for the proper charges due to the hotel from the guest for his food, board, room rent, lodging and accommodations and for any other charges incurred by the guest and for all money and credit paid for or furnished to him and for the costs of enforcing such lien including court costs and reasonable attorney’s fees. The hotelkeeper shall have the right to retain and hold possession of such baggage and other personal property until the amount of such charges and money be fully paid, and to sell such baggage and other personal property for payment of such lien, charges and costs, including court costs and reasonable attorney’s fees in the manner provided in section 39-1807, Idaho Code.
