§ 38-1216 — APPRENTICESHIP CERTIFICATES — TEMPORARY PERMITS
The board shall establish and prescribe the criteria and basis for issuing apprenticeship certificates and for issuing temporary permits; provided, however, that an apprentice shall be authorized to scale only under the direct supervision of a licensed scaler and temporary permits may be issued only where there are no available scalers in the area and the surrounding circumstances warrant the issuance of a temporary permit. Temporary permits may be issued for such time periods and at such fee as may be determined by the board, provided, however, that a temporary permit shall not be issued for a period of time in excess of three (3) months.
