§ 33-509 — DUTIES OF THE TREASURER

The treasurer elected by the board of trustees of a school district shall have such duties as the board may prescribe. The treasurer shall be placed under fidelity bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the state of Idaho, in such amount as the board of trustees may from time to time determine, or under personal bond equal to twice such determined amount with at least two (2) sureties who each shall qualify as in the case of sureties on the bonds of county officers. The county treasurer of the home county of any elementary school district with less than six (6) teachers within the district shall serve as treasurer of such district, if requested to do so by the school district board of trustees. The treasurer shall account for the deposit of all moneys of the district
