§ 33-4102 — ESTABLISHING THE IDAHO EDUCATION COUNCIL

Idaho·Title 33 EDUCATION·Ch. 41 INTERSTATE COMPACTS
There is hereby established the "Idaho Education Council" composed of the members of the "Education Commission of the States" representing this state, and eight other persons appointed by the governor for terms of three years. Such other person shall be selected so as to be broadly representative of professional and lay interest within this state having the responsibilities for, knowledge with respect to, and interest in educational matters. The chairman shall be designated by the governor from among its members. The council shall meet on the call of its chairman or at the request of a majority of its members, but in any event the council shall meet not less than three times in each year.
