Text

In any election for the office of trustee it is not necessary to conduct an election if:

(1)After the expiration of the date for filing written nominations only one (1) candidate has been nominated for each position to be filled; and, there has been no declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate filed as provided in section 33-2717A, Idaho Code; or
(2)If no candidate has filed a written nomination and only one (1) candidate for each position to be filled has filed a declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate as provided in section 33-2717A, Idaho Code. If either of these conditions are present, the board of trustees shall no later than seven (7) days before the scheduled date of the election declare the candidate elected as trustee, and the clerk of the library board shall imm
