Payette county is described as follows: beginning at the intersection of the north line of township nine (9) north, range five (5) west, with the west line of the state of Idaho, said intersection being the southwest corner of Washington county; Northern boundary. Thence east a distance of twenty-two (22) miles, more or less, to the northwest corner of section three (3), township nine (9) north, range one (1) west; Eastern boundary.
