Text

(a)A foreign filing entity or foreign limited liability partnership whose name does not comply with section 30-21-301, Idaho Code, for an entity of its type may not register to do business in this state until it adopts, for the purpose of doing business in this state, an alternate name that complies with section 30-21-301, Idaho Code. A foreign entity that registers under an alternate name under this subsection need not comply with this state’s assumed or fictitious name statute. After registering to do business in this state with an alternate name, a foreign entity shall do business in this state under:
(1)The alternate name;
(2)The foreign entity’s name with the addition of its jurisdiction of formation; or
(3)Name the foreign entity is authorized to use under this state’s assumed or
