§ 28-4-627 — OBLIGATION OF SENDER TO PAY RECEIVING BANK

(1)The provisions of this section are subject to the provisions of sections 28-4-613 and 28-4-615.
(2)With respect to a payment order issued to the beneficiary’s bank, acceptance of the order by the bank obliges the sender to pay the bank the amount of the order, but payment is not due until the payment date of the order.
(3)The provisions of this subsection are subject to the provisions of subsection (5) of this section and to section 28-4-623. With respect to a payment order issued to a receiving bank other than the beneficiary’s bank, acceptance of the order by the receiving bank obliges the sender to pay the bank the amount of the sender’s order.
