Text

(1)If in the opinion of the director, a person violates, or there is reasonable cause to believe that a person is about to violate the provisions of this chapter, the director may bring an action in the district court to enjoin the violation or to enforce compliance with the provisions of this chapter. Upon a showing that a person has engaged in or is about to engage in, an act or practice constituting a violation of the provisions of this chapter, a restraining order, preliminary or permanent injunction, or writ of mandamus shall be granted, and a receiver or a conservator may be appointed for the defendant or the defendant’s assets. The court shall not require the director to post a bond in an action brought under this chapter.
