Text

(a)No winery license, wine distributor’s license, wine by the drink license, bonded wine warehouse license, or retail wine license may be transferred to another person, including an executor, administrator, or trustee in bankruptcy of the estate of the licensee, unless the transferee shall first have obtained the approval of the director to such transfer upon application containing the substantially same information required of an applicant for a winery license, wine distributor’s license, bonded wine warehouse license, or retail wine license, as the case may be. If the transferee possesses all of the qualifications and none of the disqualifications for such license, the director shall approve the transfer by issuing a license to the transferee.
