(1)This chapter shall be known and may be cited as either the "Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act" or "TEDRA."
(2)The overall purpose of this chapter is to set forth generally applicable statutory provisions for the resolution of disputes and other matters involving trusts and estates in a single chapter under title 15, Idaho Code. The provisions of this chapter are intended to provide nonjudicial methods for the resolution of matters by agreement. This chapter also provides for judicial resolution of disputes if a nonjudicial resolution is not obtained that are alternatives to the other provisions for resolution of contested matters under other chapters of title 15, Idaho Code. The provisions of this chapter shall not supersede, but shall supplement, any otherwise applicable provis
