Text
It shall be signed and acknowledged in the manner prescribed for the execution and
acknowledgment of deeds, and recorded in the office of the recorder of the county where the
assignor resides, and in any other county in the state in which the assignor has real property
to be assigned thereby, in the records of deeds, and indexed in the proper index books.
