The protected person or the protected person’s estate shall be charged with the court costs
ofaprotectedperson’sguardianship,includingtheguardian’sfeesandthefeesoftheattorney
for the guardian. The court may, upon application, enter an order waiving payment of the
court costs in indigent cases. However, if the protected person or protected person’s estate
becomes financially capable of paying any waived costs, the costs shall be paid immediately.
