Text
Subject to the provisions of section 626.93, when property is unsold for want of bidders,
the levy still holds good; and, if there be sufficient time, it may again be advertised, or the
execution returned and one issued commanding the officer to sell the property, describing it,
previously levied on, to which a clause may be added that, if such property does not produce
a sum sufficient to satisfy such execution, the officer shall proceed to make an additional levy,
on which the officer shall proceed as on other executions; or the plaintiff may, in writing filed
with the clerk, abandon such levy, upon paying the costs thereof; in which case execution
may issue with the same effect as if none had ever been issued.
