Text
If real estate is levied upon, except by virtue of a special execution issued in cases
foreclosing recorded liens, the officer making the levy shall make an entry in the
encumbrance book in the office of the clerk of the district court of the county where the real
estate is located, which entry shall constitute notice to all persons of such levy. Such entry
shall contain the number and title of the case, date of levy, date of the entry, amount claimed,
description of the real estate levied upon, and signature of the officer.
