Text
1.Witnesses shall receive ten dollars for each full day’s attendance, and five dollars for
each attendance less than a full day, and mileage expenses pursuant to section 602.1509 for
each mile actually traveled.
2.Witness fees to be received by an inmate, while in the custody of the department of
corrections, shall be applied either toward payment of any restitution owed by the inmate or
to the crime victim compensation program established in sections 915.80 through 915.94.
