Text
1.“Adoption service provider”, “adult”, “agency”, “biological parent”, “certified adoption
investigator”, “child”, “court”, “custodian”, “department”, “guardian”, “guardian ad litem”,
“juvenilecourt”,“minor”,“parent”,“parent-childrelationship”,“stepparent”,and“termination
of parental rights” mean the same as defined in section 600A.2.
2.“Investigator” means a natural person who is certified or approved by the department,
after inspection by the department of inspections, appeals, and licensing, as being capable of
conducting an investigation under section 600.8.
