a fibrocystic condition.
Notwithstanding the uniformity of treatment requirements of section 514C.6, a third-party
payor as defined in that section shall not deny or fail to renew, or include an exception to
or exclusion of benefits in, a policy or contract of individual or group accident and sickness
insurance solely based upon an insured being diagnosed as having a fibrocystic condition.
