Text
1.Any level premium life insurance company, organized on the stock or mutual plan and
authorized to transact business under the provisions of chapter 508 may, upon complying
with the provisions of said chapter and of this chapter, issue contracts providing for group
life, or health, or accident insurance, or combinations thereof as defined in this chapter.
2.A casualty company organized on the stock or mutual plan, or accident and
health association authorized to transact business under chapter 515, or a reciprocal or
interinsurance exchange organized under chapter 520, may, by complying with those
chapters and this chapter, issue contracts providing for health or accident insurance, or
combinations of health and accident insurance, as defined in this chapter.
