Text
1.A person on whose behalf a filed record was delivered to the secretary of state for filing
may correct the record if any of the following apply:
a.The record at the time of filing was inaccurate.
b.The record was defectively signed.
c.The electronic transmission of the record to the secretary of state was defective.
2.To correct a filed record, a person on whose behalf the record was delivered to the
secretary of state must deliver to the secretary of state for filing a statement of correction.
3.A statement of correction shall comply with all of the following:
a.It must not state a delayed effective date.
b.It must be signed by the person correcting the filed record.
c.It must describe the record to be corrected including its filing date or attach a copy of
the record as filed.
