1.
a.A person who violates section 460.202 or 460.203 is subject to a civil penalty of not
more than one thousand dollars. However, if a person is found to have violated a section
and again violates the section by not taking action necessary to correct a previous violation
within sixty days after the person was found to have committed the previous violation, the
person is subject to a civil penalty not to exceed five thousand dollars. If a person is convicted
of violating a section two or more times and again violates that section by not taking action
necessary to correct a previous violation within sixty days after the person was found to have
committed the last previous violation, the person is subject to a civil penalty not to exceed
fifteen thousand dollars.
