ThestateofIowaassentstotheprovisionsoftheActofCongressentitled“AnActToProvide That The United States Shall Aid The States In Fish Restoration Projects, And For Other Purposes”, approved August 9, 1950, Chapter 658, 64 Stat. 430, codified at 16 U.S.C. §777 – 777n, and the department may perform acts as necessary to the conduct and establishment of cooperative fish restoration projects, as defined in the Act of Congress, in compliance with the Act and with regulations promulgated by the secretary of the interior under the Act. No funds accruing to the state of Iowa from fishing license fees shall be diverted for any other purposes than as set out in sections 456A.17 and 456A.19.
