Text
1.If the commission determines that an agricultural chemical causes an unreasonable,
adverseeffectonhumansortheenvironment, thecommissionshallsubmittothesecretaryof
agriculture its findings and recommended actions. The secretary of agriculture shall propose
rules implementing the recommended actions and shall hold a public hearing to determine
the effects of the proposed rules as provided in chapter 206 after review and consideration
of the findings as provided in subsection 2 of this section. A rule of the secretary shall be
adopted pursuant to chapter 17A.
2.The commission shall submit to the secretary of agriculture its findings on the
unreasonable, adverse effect that the agricultural chemical causes to humans or the
