Text
All public agencies, as defined in chapter 28E, shall cooperate in the development and
implementation of a state hazardous condition contingency plan. The plan shall detail the
manner in which public agencies shall participate in the response to a hazardous condition.
The director may enter into agreements, with approval of the commission, with any state
agency or unit of local government or with the federal government, as necessary to develop
and implement the plan. The plan shall be coordinated with the department of homeland
security and emergency management and any joint emergency management agencies
established pursuant to chapter 29C.
