Text
The department shall:
1.Establish such rules pursuant to the provisions of chapter 17A as are necessary to
protect the public from unnecessary exposure to hazardous substances.
2.Develop a comprehensive plan for the prevention, abatement and control of hazardous
conditions within the state.
