1.The property assessment appeal board may adopt rules establishing requirements for
noticesofvoluntarysettlementsinappealsbeforetheboardtobeserveduponaffectedtaxing
districts.
2.A voluntary court settlement of an assessment appeal shall not be valid unless written
notice of the settlement shall first be served upon each of the affected taxing districts.
