Text
A petition under section 359.5 shall be accompanied by the affidavit of three eligible
electors, to the effect that all of the signatures to the petition are genuine, and that the
signers thereof are all eligible electors of the township, residing outside the corporate limits
of the city. Remonstrances signed by such eligible electors may also be presented at the
hearing before the board of supervisors provided for in this subchapter, but if the same
persons petition and remonstrate, they shall be counted on the remonstrance only.
