In any county where there is a county hospital in existence, a health care facility as defined
in section 135C.1 may be established to be operated in conjunction therewith, and all of the
provisions of this chapter and all of the proceedings authorized thereby relating to hospital
buildingsandadditionsthereto,shallapplytoerecting,equippingandprocuringsitesforsuch
facilities and additions thereto, as well as for improvements, maintenance and replacements
of such facilities.
