Text
1.There is established a highway railroad grade crossing surface repair fund in the office
of the treasurer of state. The department may credit to this fund:
a.Moneys appropriated to the department from the general fund of the state.
b.Moneys appropriated to the department from the road use tax fund or the primary road
fund.
c.Available federal funds.
d.Moneys acquired by the department from any gift, grant, or contributions from any
source.
2.Notwithstanding the provisions of section 8.33, unencumbered funds remaining in the
highway railroad grade crossing surface repair fund at the close of each fiscal year ending
on June 30 shall revert to the road use tax fund.
