Text
1.The board of regents shall establish a center for agricultural safety and health at the
state university of Iowa. The center shall be a joint venture by the state university of Iowa and
Iowa state university of science and technology. The center shall establish farm health and
safety programs designed to reduce the incidence of disabilities suffered by persons engaged
in agriculture which results from disease or injury. The state university of Iowa is primarily
responsible for the management of agricultural health and injury programs at the center.
Iowa state university of science and technology is primarily responsible for the management
of the agricultural safety programs of the center.
2.The center shall cooperate with the department of health and human services pursuant
to section
