Text

The state board of regents shall pay to the local school boards the tuition payments and transportation costs, as otherwise authorized by statutes for the elementary or high school education of students residing on land owned by the state and under the control of the state board of regents. Such payments for the three institutions of higher learning, the state university of Iowa, the Iowa state university of science and technology, and the university of northern Iowa, shall be made from the funds of the respective institutions other than state appropriations.
