Text
The gifted and talented children advisory council shall:
1.Elect a chairperson and vice chairperson from the membership of the advisory council.
2.Meet as often as deemed necessary by the advisory council.
3.Advise and assist a local board of directors in the establishment of gifted and talented
children programs, when requested by the local board.
4.Review program plans and proposed budgets for a gifted and talented children
program, in consultation with a gifted and talented children consultant employed by the
area education agency, when requested by a local board.
5.When requested by a local board, evaluate the results of a gifted and talented children
programandfileawrittenreporttogetherwithrecommendationsforimprovementorchange
with the board of directors of the applicable school
