Text
1.For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012, and for each
succeeding fiscal year, there is appropriated from the general fund of the state to the
department the sum of one hundred thousand dollars. The department shall distribute the
appropriation to the tribal council of the Sac and Fox Indian settlement for expenses of
educating American Indian children residing in the Sac and Fox Indian settlement on land
held in trust by the secretary of the interior of the United States in excess of federal moneys
paid to the tribal council for educating the American Indian children.
2.The tribal council shall administer the moneys distributed by the department pursuant
to subsection 1 and shall first use moneys distributed to pay the additional costs of salaries
