Text

1. The higher education division of the department of education is created. The head of the division is the administrator who shall be appointed by the director. 2. The administrator shall do all of the following, subject to supervision of the director: a. Administer and coordinate all of the following bureaus, boards, and commissions within the higher education division:

(1)The community colleges and post-secondary readiness bureau under part 2.
(2)The board of educational examiners under part 3.
(3)The college student aid commission under part 4.
(4)The community colleges bureau under chapter 260C. b. Direct the activities of the division. c. Control all property of the division. d. Supervise the personnel employed by the division. e. Perform other duties imposed by law or assigned b
