Text
The purpose of this subchapter is to establish and provide for the operation of the office
of long-term care ombudsman; to carry out, through the office, a state long-term care
ombudsman program within the department in accordance with the requirements of the
federal Act; and to adopt the supporting federal regulations and guidelines for its operation.
